Elon Musks Tweets He Deleted His Twitter Account

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and co-founder of Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) tweeted Monday Morning that he “just deleted my Twitter account.” The tweet went live at 12:51AM early Monday Morning. Musk then changed his user title to “Daddy DotCom” There was no response from Tesla when asked for a comment. Many Twitter Users took to the platform to point out the irony of Musk’s comment. Tom Hardwood @tomhfh says, “how you be tweeting then Elon?” with another user Emilio @emiliosantanaf saying, “incorrect. u just tweeted” At the time of the Tweet, Musk had 27M+ Twitter followers.

Nearly 250,000 Pounds Of Frozen Breakfast Burritos Recalled Over Contamination with ‘Small Rocks’

Ruiz Food Products Inc., producer of El Monterey Frozen Breakfast Wraps, is recalling nearly 250,000 pounds of the burritos due to customer complaints about ‘small rocks’ inside the burritos. At the time of publication, there was one potentially related injury involving the contaminated breakfast burritos according to the FDA Website. Ruiz Foods is investigating how the foreign material got into the breakfast wraps. Three customers so far have reported finding the rocks in the burritos by Friday, when the problem was first reported to the USDA. 
The affected dates and lots of the egg, potato, bacon and cheese sauce breakfast wrap are: LOT 19017, Best Used By 01/17/2020 LOT 19018, Best Used By 01/18/2020 Customers who bought the breakfast wraps should discard of them immediately or return them to the store where they were purchased.

4 Reasons 401k Plans May Be Dangerous to your Retirement

There are two exceptions in shunning your 401k plan: You’re paying a very high effective tax rate and you’ve confirmed that your retirement tax rate will be less; or your employer matches some part of your contribution. There are three mitigating items that can lower your tax bill: exemptions, deductions and tax credits. (And based on your income you may or may not be able to take advantage of these items.) Once you’ve determined your tax bracket you can weigh the restrictions of your 401k against the tax savings of your contributions. Many middle class Americans are paying a blended tax rate of 18%.  A $1,000 contribution saves $180 and over 30 years that tax savings totals $5,400. But when you take a distribution from your 401K, you pay ordinary income taxes on the distributions and those distributions figure in the calculation on the taxes you’ll pay on your Social Security benefits. Mississippi Restaurant Employee Fired After Woman Receives Racist Receipt

Alexia Washington was shocked to receive a racist message that was printed on her food receipt at local restaurant, Who Dat. On June 7, 2019, Washington placed an order at the Who Dat Restaurant and on the receipt, which contained Alexia Washington’s order, also contained “Black b****** in silver car” at the top of the receipt where the name of the customer should have been printed. Washington says she immediately reported the receipt to the manager of Who Dat, who made the employee apologize, but no further action was taken at the time. The employee was working at the drive-thru window at the time of the incident. Washington was shocked. She stated, “My car isn’t silver, for one,” Washington wrote in the now-deleted post. “For two, I wasn’t rude. I didn’t have any type of hostility. Jury Sentences Father To Death For The Murder Of His Five Children

A South Carolina man was sentenced to death after the jury found him guilty of killing his own five children with his bare hands. After slaying his children, Timothy Jones Jr drove around with their bodies for nine days before disposing of the bodies in garbage bags on the side of an Alabama dirt road. Jones Jr. showed zero emotion as the jury delivered the death penalty verdict, which took less than two hours of deliberation. Another verdict that could have been chosen was life without the chance of parole. The children, ages 1 to 8, were murdered in their Lexington home in August of 2014. While prosecutors pushed for the death sentence, Jones’s lawyer requested that the jurors show some mercy, stating that the family has already lost 5 loved ones and seen too much death but wanted to still love Jones even if only through prison bars. Jones is only the second person to be sent to South Carolina’s death row since 2014 and the state has note executed anyone since 2011 and lacks the drugs to carry out lethal injection.

Tesla Denied Tariff Exemption For Model 3 Components Out Of China

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) who is currently producing its entry-level Model 3 which is at a lower-cost point than its bigger brother the Model S was denied a tariff exemption on the Model 3’s computer and screen due to the new Chinese tariffs put into place by the Trump Administration. Tesla is currently producing all of its vehicles in the US but still relies on Chinese suppliers for specific parts for its vehicles, of which many of those parts would be difficult to produce in the US. The Chinese goods tariff was put into place in an effort to convince American companies to keep more of their production in the US. Such is the case with the ‘brain of the vehicle’ which is how Tesla describes the computer and screen for the Tesla Model 3. Tesla made a request to the United States Trade Representative’s Office for an exemption on the parts, arguing that it isn’t realistic to switch suppliers on the computer and screen and that the new tariff is significant enough that it could cause “economic harm” to the company. More frozen berries are now included in the nationwide recall over Hepatitis A concerns. This time the berries included are Costco’s Kirkland Brand That Include The Tree Berry Blend. The specific bags of berries were sold in San Diego, Los Angeles and Hawaii and the recall notice urges consumers to check their freezers for the berries. “Members who have purchased the product should not consume it. Instead, photograph the product bag for your records, dispose of the product and contact your local Costco for a full refund,” the recall notice states. Jonathan Corcoran Brother of Barbara Corcoran Found Dead In Dominican Republic Hotel Room

Shark Tank Star Barbara Corcoran’s brother, Jonathan Corcoran was found dead in his hotel room in the Dominican Republic in April of this year. The Dominican Republic is making its way into news headlines around the World as more U.S. tourists deaths are occurring. Barbara Corcoran’s assistant, Emily Burke, stated, ohn Corcoran passed away at the end of April in the DR from what is believed to be natural causes,” Burke said in a statement to Fox News. “He loved and frequently visited the Dominican Republic. Barbara would like to respect the privacy of his children and is not releasing any other information at this time.” Barbara stated that her brother who was living in New Jersey had gone to the DR with a friend on what was his annual vacation. Jonathan Corcoran was found by the friend who was sharing the same suite with him. At the time of publication, it was unclear which hotel Jonathan Corcoran was staying at. This is now the 7th confirmed death in the Dominican Republic since about April, however, reports are suggesting they believe this death to be of natural causes.
