Is Your Practice Like a Simple Game of Checkers or Comprehensive Like Chess?

There’s no debate among gamers that chess is more difficult than checkers. Likewise, metaphors can generally convey truths and concepts sometimes better than traditional planning models. Here’s a little episode from my childhood that may help you discover the business you’re really in. One day our dorm matron, Sister Lucette, brought out a board with 64 alternating colored squares. She didn’t describe it as a checkerboard or a chess board, just a board. She told us that this board represented the universe. She paused and then quipped this pithy platitude, “There are only so many moves on the checkerboard that once you’ve learned them, that’s it.” Ok a checkerboard. Got it. She placed two sets of different colored checkers on the checkerboard, twelve for each side and then began addressing the rules of engagement and the goal of winning the game. It didn’t take long to realize that crossing the board to be crowned king was the ultimate expression of adolescent testosterone as we all shouted, “King me!” Often, we’d play checkers during our daily free time and before bed. Georgia Dispute Resolution Attorney Discusses The Civil Judgment Lifespan

Atlanta, Georgia (Findit) June 26, 2019 – A Georgia dispute resolution attorney at KPPB Law recently released a blog outlining the lifespan of a civil judgment. These judgements can eventually go dormant and must be revived to be properly resolved. A civil judgment is a ruling against the defendant in non-criminal legal matters. The defendant is often required to pay damages as a result, and the judgment will appear on their credit report in the future. Judgements are typically valid for a set period of time, depending on your state, during which the creditor can attempt to collect their damages. Some judgments are valid for as long as 20 years, while others span only five. This period typically begins on the date of the judgment or the date the creditor last tries to collect. After this point, the judgment is considered dormant and must be renewed before the creditor can collect their payment. Creditors must renew their judgments in order to extend the time during which they can receive their payment. If it is not renewed, it is considered lapsed. Tesla Is Developing Means To Produce Its Own Battery Cells To Reduce Dependency On Panasonic

Tesla (NASDA: TSLA) has begun developing the means to produce its own batteries, reported by five current and recent employees. Currently, Tesla has relied on Panasonic for its batteries after signing an extensive partnership deal in 2014. If Tesla is able to pull off manufacturing its own batteries, it will help tech company offer cheaper, higher-performance electric vehicles that it currently does today. Tesla would no longer have to pay or share data and resources with outside vendors or partners and it would be handling battery production in house. Tesla vehicles, which currently are entirely electric, rely on a massive battery pack and battery cells to power the car or SUV. Both the battery pack and battery cells are the main cost component in an electric vehicle. While Tesla, in the near future, may set the groundwork for in-house battery development, they are likely not going to cut all ties with Pansonic and other battery suppliers right away.

32 Lots Of Blood Pressure Drug Losartan Recalled Over Small Amounts Of Carcinogens

Losartan, which is proved by Macleods Pharmaceuticals Limited, is being recalled over trace amounts of a probably carcinogen. 32 lots are being recalled due to containing N-nitrosodiethylamine or NDEA according to the company notice that was published to the FDA website on Wednesday. The recall notice states, “Based on the available information, the risk of developing cancer in a few patients following long-term use of the product cannot be ruled out.” The active drug ingredient was manufactured in India at Hetero Labs Limited, which is one of the overseas factories that has been linked to repeated blood medication recalls since July of 2018. Previously in Feburary, Macleods recalled one lot of Losartan for the very same reason however the company has said there have been no reports of adverse effects.

Audi Announces Recall of 23,000 Q3 SUVS Due To Turn Signal Problems

Audi (OTCMARKETS: AUDVF) has announced a recall of its compact crossover Q3 SUV that was produced between 2016 and 2018. The recall is over a turn signal problem that fortunately can be fixed with a software update. All of the vehicles that are part of this recall are equipped with LED headlights, but in the recall it is unclear if there is a specific batch of VINs associated with the recall. The problem arises from the LED headlights where “incorrect software configuration” (as Audi puts it) may not alert the driver if one of the LED front turn signals fails to work. Because all vehicles on the road must conform to regulations from the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, this places the Audi Q3s in violation of one of the requirements – FMVSS 108 “Lamps, reflective devices and associated equipment” A malfunctioning front turn signal and no warning light may result in a vehicle that changes lanes without enough notification to other drivers which can increase the likelihood of a crash. Widow Of Worker Found Dead In SunTrust Park Beer Cooler Sues Atlanta Braves

Angela Keeling is suing the Atlanta Braves in a wrongful death lawsuit after her husband, Marvin Todd Keeling, died in the walk-in beer cooler at Suntrust Park. The lawsuit was filed on Friday in Fulton County and is seeking unspecified damages in the death of her husband. The lawsuit alleges that the walk in beer cooler had a faulty door mechanism that prevented Keeling from escaping the cooler. This, along with lethal carbon dioxide leaks were the primary causes for her husband’s death. Her lawyers claim that the Atlanta Braves were aware of both of these issues but never corrected them, resulting in the unfortunate series of events that killed her husband. The autopsy report for Todd Keeling stated, “[his] fall/collapse was very rapid or that he was so disoriented that he was unable to form or act on logical thought process” The report goes on to read that because of a a “faulty door release mechanism that was improperly constructed, assembled, maintained and allowed to exist.” At the time of publication, the Atlanta Braves have not responded to the incident.
